Dell Warranty Overview
- Dell offers on-site warranty (technician comes to the customer's location) for business-class devices (laptops, desktops, servers, network equipment, data storage) and a basic/carry-in warranty (the device must be brought to the service center) for consumer devices.
- Dell's on-site warranty availability is guaranteed in mainland Estonia within 150 km from Tallinn or Tartu.
- The warranty for Dell devices is international.
- For international warranties, a request for ownership/residence transfer (tag transfer) is required if relocating to another country for an extended period (more than 6 months).
- The standard warranty length for Dell devices is 3 years, with some cases (depending on customer preference at the time of order) extending to 5-7 years.
- Dell device warranties can be extended.

Warranty types for Dell devices
- "On-site Service After Remote Diagnosis" (on-site warranty), with a response time of the next business day.
- "NBD ProSupport" (extended on-site warranty) with a response time of the next business day.
- "ProSupport Mission Critical on-site" (extended on-site warranty) with a response time of up to 4 hours.
- "Carry in" (consumer warranty) with a response time of up to 10 business days. The device must be brought to the service center (OIXIO IT AS, Siduri 3, Tallinn).
Warranty for Dell Monitors and Accessories
- Standard on-site (customer on-site) warranty does not apply to Dell monitors.
- Replacement parts are not available for Dell monitors. The entire device will be replaced under warranty.
- For warranty claims on Dell monitors and accessories (e.g., dock, mouse, adapter, keyboard, etc.) purchased from other sources than OIXIO IT must contact the seller. The seller has a legal obligation to handle warranty cases.
- It is also possible to call Dell's official phone support number: 800 2240 (English and Russian language support only).
By initiating a warranty claim through Dell's official phone support, Dell will send a new monitor to the customer's address. The old (defective) monitor must be packed in the same package that the new monitor was delivered. The monitor replacement and transport are free of charge for the customer!
Dell Laptop Battery Warranty
- The warranty period for Dell laptop batteries is 1 year for any issues. A battery that has already been replaced does not receive a new one-year warranty period.
- As of August 29, 2022, Dell will not replace swollen batteries under warranty older than 1 year (except in cases where an extended battery warranty has been separately purchased).
If battery swelling occurs within the standard 1-year battery warranty period, it is covered under warranty.- If battery swelling occurs within the standard 1-year battery warranty period, it is covered under warranty.
- If battery swelling occurs in the 2nd or 3rd year, the warranty is only valid if an extended warranty for 2 or 3 years has been purchased.
